NBA Summer League 2023: What You Need to Know
Dates and Locations
The NBA Summer League will take place from July 7th to July 17th in three cities: Las Vegas, Sacramento, and Salt Lake City. All 30 NBA teams will participate in the league.
Las Vegas
The Las Vegas Summer League will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The games will be played from July 7th to July 17th.
Sacramento
The Sacramento Summer League will be held at the Golden 1 Center, home of the Sacramento Kings. The games will be played from July 3rd to July 7th.
Salt Lake City
The Salt Lake City Summer League will be held at the Vivint Arena, home of the Utah Jazz. The games will be played from July 1st to July 3rd.
Format
The NBA Summer League will use a round-robin format. Each team will play four games in the preliminary round. The top two teams from each division will advance to the semifinals. The winners of the semifinals will then advance to the championship game.
Rosters
The NBA Summer League rosters will be comprised of players who are not currently on NBA rosters. This includes rookies, sophomores, and free agents. Teams are allowed to have up to 17 players on their roster.
Tickets
Tickets for the NBA Summer League are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased through the NBA website or through the individual team websites.
